The agreement is standardised for all contractors to ensure fairness and consistency, so we’re unable to remove or amend individual sections.

Mercor does not provide employee verification letters. You can download your Engagement Letter directly from the relevant project dashboard, as shown in the Documents section (see screenshot example). Look for the file titled “Engagement Letter — Signed by Mercor”, which confirms your participation in the project.

The only document that must be signed first is your offer letter — it is the single gate. Once your offer letter is signed, the remaining agreements (Terms of Work, CIIAA, and your tax form) all become available, and none is permanently gated behind another. On your offer page, the Terms of Work may appear labeled as the Worker Agreement — it is the same document.The offer page walks you through the next unsigned document one at a time. If you’d like to review everything up front, or sign in a different order — for example, read the CIIAA before the Worker Agreement — open your onboarding checklist by adding
/onboarding to your offer page’s web address: it lists every step and lets you move freely between your signed and unsigned documents.You can open and read the full text of each agreement — including all clauses related to IP assignment, non-compete, non-solicitation, exclusivity, and other terms — before you sign it. Signing your offer letter does not commit you to the other agreements: each one is only binding once you personally sign it, and you may decline at any point.Can you update my name or other details on my engagement letter?

The engagement letter that has already been generated cannot be edited or reissued. Once the document is created, it becomes final, and we are unable to update the name or any details on that specific letter.

U.S. citizens and residents are advised to complete a W-9 form. Non-U.S. individuals are recommended to complete a W-8BEN form.

Mercor does not withhold any taxes. You are responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes in accordance with your local laws.

Yes. Both pre- and post-completion OPT are eligible to work on Mercor projects.

Once you receive an offer, you can review and sign your offer letter directly through your Mercor dashboard. After signing, the Engagement Letter will be available for download under the Documents section within the respective Contract.This Engagement Letter may be used for your university’s Curricular Practical Training (CPT) application.Please note that the terms and conditions of the offer (including the start date) are standardised and are not subject to any adjustments.
