How does auto- matching work for Instant Offers?

1

Auto-identifying the pre-qualified candidates

Candidates with strong match scores, availability, and completed requirements (resume, verified interviews, skills etc) are automatically matched and marked as prequalified.
2

Project Team sends the Instant Offer

Prequalified candidates are treated as if they’ve already applied, so hiring teams can send an offer without requiring an application.
3

Candidate starts right away!

Once an offer is sent, the candidate receives an Instant Offer email and can begin immediately—no listing views, applications, or assessements involved.

Why did I receive an instant work offer?

You were identified as an intense match for this opportunity. Our matching system considers:
  • Your professional experience and work history
  • Your performance in previous interviews and assessments at Mercor
  • The skills highlighted in your Mercor profile
Keep your profile updated and complete to increase your chances of receiving instant offers.

The new earnings-sharing model introduced as a part of the New Referral Program (launched on 14 January 2026) allows referrers to earn 20% of their referral’s work earnings—hourly pay, bonuses, and one-time payments—in real time, up to an earnings cap.For more information on the new referral program, read here.
Instant offers are sent only when your verified interviews, assessments, skills, and availability closely match what a role needs. When that happens, your profile may be shared with the hiring team as prequalified, and they can send you an offer even if you didn’t apply. Since not every role uses instant offers, updating your profile doesn’t always mean you’ll get one right away, as various factors are involved in the decision making process. As always, we recommend continuing to apply to roles on the Mercor platform that best match your skills and experience.
