Application Flow Interviews

Specific roles at Mercor require interviews before an application is fully submitted. Each interview is specially designed to evaluate the skills necessary for the respective position.
  • Most interviews typically require approximately 20 minutes, although the duration may vary and the expected duration will be shown before the interview is started.
  • Each individual interview is to be conducted solely once, if you encounter technical difficulties and wish to retake your interview you can follow the instructions provided here.
  • If you submit an application to a different position that uses an AI interview you’ve already completed, your previous submission will be automatically transferred.

General AI Interview Tips

Prepare your environment

Choose a peaceful environment with appropriate lighting and a stable internet connection.

Test your setup

Please utilize the waiting room to conduct a preliminary test of your microphone, camera, and speakers prior to the commencement of the interview.

Listen carefully

Concentrate on each question. It is acceptable to pause, contemplate, or request the AI to repeat the information.

Be clear and concise

Please articulate your speech clearly. Refrain from prolonged pauses, as they may be interpreted as the conclusion of your response.

Exit when finished

Press the end call button or close the tab to conclude. If uncertain, request clarification from the AI regarding the completion of the interview.
