    All contractual documents, including your Terms of Work (ToW), CIIA (Confidential Information and Inventions Assignment Agreement), tax documentation, and offer letter, are accessible within the “Documents” section of your offer or contract page on [work.mercor.com](https://work.mercor.com).

  <Accordion title="How do I request a copy of my signed CIIAA or offer letter?">
    You may download these files directly from the Documents section on your dashboard. Should you experience any issues accessing them, kindly email [support@mercor.com](mailto:support@mercor.com), including the project name and pertinent dates.

  <Accordion title="What should I do if I need to revise or correct a legal document I already signed?">
    Please contact [support@mercor.com](mailto:support@mercor.com) with details of the correction required. Our legal and operations team will review the request and guide you through the next steps.

  <Accordion title="How can I delete my Mercor account and personal data?">
    While we’re sad to see you go, we absolutely respect your decision. You may request data deletion through your Account Settings. Once there, scroll down to find the option to delete your account. The process typically takes up to 7 days to be finalized.\

    Mercor does not provide legal or tax advisory services. We recommend consulting a qualified professional in your jurisdiction for any inquiries concerning your legal status, tax obligations, or visa and contractual arrangements.

  <Accordion title="Is Mercor GDPR compliant?">
    Yes. Mercor complies with GDPR standards concerning data protection and processing for individuals within the European Union. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data in accordance with these regulations.

  <Accordion title="How can I add or remove specific clauses in the CIIAA or TOW form?">
    The agreement is standardised for all contractors to ensure fairness and consistency, so we’re unable to remove or amend individual sections.

  <Accordion title="Will Mercor provide employment verification letters for the projects I’ve worked on?">
    Mercor does not provide employee verification letters. You can download your **Engagement Letter** directly from the relevant project dashboard, as shown in the **Documents** section (see screenshot example). Look for the file titled **“Engagement Letter — Signed by Mercor”**, which confirms your participation in the project.

  <Accordion title="I’m unable to access the CIIAA because it requires signing the TOW. Please send all required legal agreements so that I may review.">
    You can review all legal agreements directly from your offer page. Select “View Terms of Work” and “View CIIAA” to open the full documents, including all clauses related to IP assignment, non-compete, non-solicitation, exclusivity, and other terms.

  <Accordion title="Can you update my name or other details on my engagement letter?">
    The engagement letter that has already been generated cannot be edited or reissued. Once the document is created, it becomes final, and we are unable to update the name or any details on that specific letter.

## Legal & Data Usage

    Your data remains secure; Mercor does not engage in the sale or sharing of your information with third parties. You may request the deletion of your account at any time via your account settings.

  <Accordion title="How do I know which tax form to complete?">
    U.S. citizens and residents are advised to complete a W-9 form. Non-U.S. individuals are recommended to complete a W-8BEN form.

  <Accordion title="I made a mistake on my tax form. How do I fix it?">
    Please contact [support@mercor.com](mailto:support@mercor.com), and our team will reset your tax form to enable you to submit the correct version.

  <Accordion title="How much tax does Mercor deduct? Does Mercor handle my tax filing?">
    Mercor does not withhold any taxes. You are responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes in accordance with your local laws.

## Work Authorization

  <Accordion title="Can I work on Mercor projects while on F-1 OPT status?">
    Yes. Both pre- and post-completion OPT are eligible to work on Mercor projects.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I work on Mercor projects while on STEM OPT?">
    Mercor is unable to sign Form I-983, which is a prerequisite for STEM OPT employment.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I work on Mercor projects while on CPT?">
    Yes, but you must obtain approval from your university's Designated School Official (DSO), and the employment must be an integral component of your academic curriculum.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Mercor sponsor visas like H-1B?">
    Mercor does not provide visa sponsorship, including H-1B or other employment-based visas.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I receive a formal offer letter for my CPT application?">
    Once you receive an offer, you can review and sign your offer letter directly through your Mercor dashboard. After signing, the Engagement Letter will be available for download under the Documents section within the respective Contract.

    This Engagement Letter may be used for your university’s Curricular Practical Training (CPT) application.

    Please note that the terms and conditions of the offer (including the start date) are standardised and are not subject to any adjustments.
